The Gulf Coast African American Chamber of Commerce (GCAACC) will have its monthly General Body Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 5:30 p.m., at the Pensacola Improv, 375 N. Pace Blvd., Pensacola, FL.
The Presenters for this meeting will be Patricia Knight of Primerica and Attorney Theodore Phlegar of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Primerica is the largest independent financial service marketing organization in North America. The company offers unlimited income potential and freedom to be your own boss. Joining Primerica has allowed Ms. Patricia Knight the opportunity to decide how many hours she works, her salary and to be in business for herself. Ms. Knight is now a Regional Leader growing an organization that helps families become debt free and financially independent.
U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Mr. Theodore Phlegar is an attorney with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He will share information on how the Department of Labor has spent millions to insure that workers are classified properly as a contractor or employee. Many small businesses opt to use contractors in the place of an employee. Although this is cheaper for the business, the same benefits are not available to a contractor and it hurts state and government tax dollars He will also share information about the proposed Employee Free Choice Act. This Act would make it easier to unionize small businesses.
Please come and learn more information on Primerica and the US Chamber of Commerce.
